...Having two young children, I was very nervous about how they were going to react to the move and what impact that would have on our decision whether to make our new home a permanent one. I desperately wanted everything to go as smoothly as possible. Before we left the U.K. Judy put us in touch with someone who could provide us with a temporary rental property and sourced several longer term options. She also researched job opportunities for Rob, so well in fact, that he was offered a job within a couple of days of our arrival.
Every question we had was answered, or responded to, immediately and thoroughly, even when we kept changing our minds about everything! Our links with H2H meant that I began our outward journey with much more confidence than I would have done had we simply gone it alone.
When we arrived in Adelaide, after a rather gruelling trip, Judy and Diane were waiting at the airport to meet us and from that point on it was like being met by two of your very best friends. They have made our transition into the Australian way of life easy. From basic practical issues to support in every aspect of this process, they have been amazing. Instead of finding the administration side of setting up a new life in a new country stressful and confusing, it was made almost effortless for us. It has been invaluable having someone on hand to ask all the crazy questions we have needed answering.
Rob and I had to smile when we read back to ourselves what we have written here because we're always pretty sceptical about these kind of testimonials in brochures, but we can honestly say, hand on heart, that signing up with H2H was the best thing we decided to do when embarking on our move to SA.
